I always wanted to write. I fought for the right to write and figured I could party later. I had my first music piece published in Melody Maker atthe age of 23. I received £28 but was very proud.

After that first concert, I soon decided I was more knowledgable and passionate about sport than The Cranberries. Music writing was so pretentious.

I write for FourFourTwo, the only long-standing football mag in the UK. My articles tend to be off the wall, featuring referees that swear, and chickens being thrown at footballers.

In the main, I now do stuff for www.cricket365.com
